I wish to become a Costume Designer for TV and Film.
Interests
From September to the beginning of December, I was learning how to make puppet heads from latex which involved making the design from clay and then creating a mould. I was also learning how to make papier-mache masks influenced by the methods used for Commedia dell'arte masks.

During this time, I also fulfilled a wish to learn some tailoring techniques by making a waistcoat.

I am currently making a Victorian costume for a female puppet, which I was asked to do for a Third Year Animation student's short stop-motion film.

I am also in the process of drafting up my own pattern for Ciel Phantomhive's (Black Butler) Hamlet coat (the one where he's holding the skull). I then hope, if, I have the time, to go on and make the rest of the costume. Fingers crossed!

Thanks for watching Dragon-L.

Wish I had your talents on my team when I recently directed my own original production of DRACULA, the Mina Harker Journals, a-la steampunk. You seem to have exactly the right weel for the genre.

Can't wait t see your work appearing in a movie soon.

You are every welcome.

I am flattered that you would wish me to be on your team. From the photos, it looked like an excellent production. I especially like the one where they are sitting on the stage in a semi-circle, I need to get myself a telephone like that!

Steampunk is a strong passion of mine.

Thank you so much, I am looking forward to when that happens.

You're very welcome. And may great success come soon enough to keep you excited, enable you to indulge your passion and follow closely at you side all your life.

The phone I found on-line and at a reasonable price. It's called an Eiffel Tower phone. What's extra cool is that it is also a fully functioning phone. Search vintage 1890's telephones. You'll be amazed what's out there. I was also lucky enough to find an affordable, functioning gramophone which I was able to easily refit into a quite reasonable facsimile of a late Victorian (steampunk version) dictation devise used in the scene where Dr. Seward records her notes. After the show I was able to return it to gramophone function and enjoy listening to old 78's.

Best of luck in the New Year!

Thank you so much!

I have yet to find a phone I wish to buy as there are many nice looking ones but they are either made from plastic or have a modern ring.
I would very much like to have a working gramophone as I am a great lover of music.

I hope you had a good new year!
